Cindy's Poppy Seed Dressing
Another great recipe from my friend Cindy Saylor is this sweet and sour dressing to use on salads. I use it over a mixture of baby
romaine lettuce, avocado slices, mandarin orange slices and red onion strips.
Ingredients
- Chop 2 T. onion in a food processor or by hand
- 1 cup oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 5 T. tarragon vinegar
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 T. poppy seeds
Mix all ingredients. Refrigerate for up to 3 months in a tightly sealed bottle.
